While photography and digital art have been added as creative pursuits in recent years, my roots are in "analog" art, and there is still nothing quite like working with traditional media. Current work is a renewal and remix of themes explored during my graduate studies in art in the early 1980s. Content consists of fluid geometric structures in tension with each other and the space they inhabit. Success lies in eliciting an emotional response through the raw expressiveness of colors, shapes, and textures. As a process, it’s about developing my creative awareness, as intimated by the Agnes Martin quote.
