Along with barns, grain bins and elevators are a common sight dotting the Midwestern landscape. Within these functional but often overlooked industrial forms exist compositions, patterns and textures waiting to be reimagined. As with all my mashup art, this series explores the boundaries between realism and abstraction, and transforming the ordinary into something more surreal.
