While out in Prescott AZ to attend the PhD graduation of my sister-in-law, I was able to make a couple of side trips to nearby Watson Lake, known for its striking granite boulders, vibrant blue waters, and dramatic desert landscapes. This reservoir, nestled within the Granite Dells, offers breathtaking scenery that changes with the light, making it a paradise for photographers. The contrast between the rugged rock formations and the calm, reflective lake creates stunning compositions, especially during sunrise and sunset. With its unique geological features and ever-changing natural beauty, Watson Lake remains a must-visit spot for capturing the raw and picturesque essence of Arizona’s outdoors.
